About Communication

Communication is an expression of thoughts to me. It doesn't matter whether its through speech, text, art, or music; all of these are mediums for transferring an idea from one person to another. It does not always have to be a serious though, but communication is a technique we learn when we are young, and constantly try to perfect as we get older. It is one's job to effectively communicate one's thoughts appropriately to their  audience.

Practice makes perfect. In order to communicate effectively, whether it be in a formal or informal setting, a sufficient vocabulary and strong grammar is necessary to effectively express one's thoughts and feelings. Vocabulary and grammar do not fall on a person's lap,  constant use of these aspects of speech allow one to use them more fluently and adequately. Visual aid and enunciation are also very important, but one must get in the habit of speaking and listening. Learning how to listen only comes through practice as well.

I expect to learn how to communicate my ideas to the best of my ability under limited resources. (By resources I mean having my body to aid visual what I am trying to express). The project will allow me to practice speaking Japanese, as well as researching culture and grammar. Since I have an allotted time to communicate our group's message we must be able to choose our words and grammar accurately.

ダンス

何物が好きですか。わかりません。物がたくさん好きですね。If I had to choose...ダンスが好きです。(When I dance)何もをしんぱいしませんから、ダンスがいちばんすきです。

I really do wish I can express everything I want to say about dance in Japanese, but my vocabulary will not permit me; I feel if I try to simplify my sentences and thoughts, something would get lost in translation. Anyway, throughout high school I was a huge performing arts junkie. Chorus, theater, band, and dance, I did it all. But theater and music to me always felt external (if that makes any sense). If though I enjoyed them, it felt like I had to produce something for audience. (I know that was not the case for other classmates of mine) But dance always felt very internal for me. I was able to get into the music and even act while I moved my body. からだは物をたくさんしますから、すごいですね。It can bend and move in ways that most people can't imagine. When you let music carry you, its almost as though you stop being you and are a part of something else, something more.

Sorry to get all passionate about movement and dance. Just thought I'd give a better explanation than I would if I attempted to write it in Japanese.

I wish my vocab was larger.

ふゆ休み

ふゆ休みサアバドル (El Salvador)へかぞくをあいにいきました。ははのりょうしんはサアバドルにすんでいます。その国はとてもきれいです。サアバドルに１２月２６日から１月３１日までパーチイーがたくさんあります。そして、毎晩わたしはパーテイーをしました。すぐいですね。^____^クムビア(Cumbia)とバチャタ(Bachata)でダンスをしました。(Quick side note: Cumbia and Bachata are both genres in Latino Music). 毎日まちへバーガーキング(BurgerKing)をたべにいきました。サンタロサとラーウニオンへいきました。サアバドルはとてもたのしでした。ことしのふゆ休みいきたいですね。^__^

二十ねんごのわたし

二十ねんごのわたしは三十九さいです。おしごとはありませんから、おかねはぜんぜなりません。そしてわたしのうちはおおきいはこです。はこはびょういんとスーパーのあいだにあります。はこのなかにいたくありませんが、かぞくはわたしといたくありません。ともだちやつまやおかねはありませんから、かぞくはわたしがすきありません。ともだちがひとりあります。ともだちはねこです。たいへんです。毎晩みんなのビルみます。そしてねを行きます。二十ねんごのわたしのせいかつはとてもかんたんです。=[

こんにちは。わたしはターシアスです。コロンビアだいがくのにねんせいです。わたしのコロンビアだいがくのせいかつはいそがしいですが、たのしいです。コロンビアのがくせいはとてもしんせつです。せんせいはおもしろいです。そしてとてもしんせつです。わたしのへやはたかいですが、ふるいです。でも、わたしはあまりひまじゃありません。こんばん木曜日から土曜日までパーテイをします。
